White Chocolate Mousse

This Easy White Chocolate Mousse is rich, fluffy, and requires only a few ingredients. It’s perfect on its own or as a White Chocolate Mousse Filling for cakes and pastries. No baking required—just melt, whip, and chill!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz white chocolate finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar optional
Toppings:
  • White chocolate shavings berries, or caramel drizzle

Method
 

Step 1: Melt the White Chocolate
  1. Heat ¼ cup of heavy cream until warm (not boiling).
  2. Pour over the chopped white chocolate and let sit for 1 minute.
  3. Stir until smooth. If needed, microwave in 10-second bursts, stirring in between.
  4. Let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Whip the Cream
  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the remaining ¾ cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Add vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Whip until stiff peaks form.
Step 3: Fold It Together
  1. Stir a small scoop of whipped cream into the melted chocolate to lighten it.
  2. Gently fold in the remaining whipped cream using a spatula—don’t overmix!
Step 4: Chill & Serve
  1. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses.
  2. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  3. Garnish with white chocolate shavings, berries, or caramel drizzle.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate for the best texture and taste.
  • Make sure the melted chocolate is slightly cooled before folding in the cream.
  •  Chill for at least 2 hours for the best texture.
