Total Time 4 hours 10 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen strawberries thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Method

  1. Hull the fresh strawberries (remove the green tops and stems). If using frozen strawberries, let them thaw for a few minutes.
  2. In a blender, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth. Add more water if needed for a pourable consistency.
  3. Pour the strawberry mixture into a shallow dish or loaf pan. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the sorbet is firm.
  4. Once frozen, use a fork to scrape the sorbet to fluff it up. Scoop and serve. Enjoy your homemade strawberry sorbet!

Notes

  • If you want the sorbet to have a super smooth texture, you can always pop it in the blender again once it's frozen, but honestly, the fork method works just fine.
  • You can totally adjust the sugar to your liking! If you want it a little sweeter, throw in a bit more sugar. If you’re trying to keep it lighter, scale back a little.
