Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium banana ripe
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 to 2 tbsp honey optional
  • 1/2 cup ice optional

Method
 

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the stems. Peel the banana and cut it into small slices to help with even blending.
  2. Pour the milk into the blender first. This helps the blades move freely and blend the ingredients more smoothly.
  3. Add strawberries, banana slices, yogurt, honey, and ice (if using). Make sure the ingredients are evenly placed for consistent blending.
  4. Start blending on a low speed for a few seconds to break down the fruit. Then increase to medium and finally high speed.
  5. Continue blending until the smoothie is creamy and smooth with no visible chunks. This usually takes about 30 to 60 seconds depending on the blender.
  6. Check the thickness. Add more milk for a thinner consistency. Add more fruit or ice for a thicker smoothie. Blend again briefly after adjusting.
  7. Taste the smoothie and add more honey if needed. Blend again for a few seconds to combine.
  8. Pour into serving glasses and enjoy fresh for the best taste and texture.
