S’mores Bars

These easy s’mores bars are gooey, chocolatey dessert bars made with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate chips. A simple oven-baked treat that tastes like classic campfire s’mores.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Stir in flour, graham crumbs, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press half dough into pan.
  7. Add marshmallows and extra chocolate if desired.
  8. Spread remaining dough on top.
  9. Bake until golden brown and set at edges.
  10. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Do not overbake for gooey texture
  • Chill before cutting for cleaner slices
  • Add extra chocolate for richer flavor
