Campfire Dessert Cones

Easy and fun campfire dessert cones recipe made with marshmallows, chocolate, and fruit. Perfect for camping, BBQ, or backyard dessert nights.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 waffle cones
  • 1 c mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 c chocolate chips
  • 1 c banana slices
  • 1/2 c chopped strawberries
  • aluminum foil

Method
 

  1. Place waffle cones upright and prepare all ingredients before starting.
  2. Add a small layer of mini marshmallows at the bottom of each cone.
  3. Add chocolate chips on top of the marshmallows.
  4. Add banana slices and chopped strawberries.
  5. Continue layering until the cone is filled, leaving a little space at the top.
  6. Gently press the filling down so it fits well but is not packed too tightly.
  7. Wrap each cone completely in aluminum foil, sealing all sides tightly.
  8. Place wrapped cones on a grill or over a campfire using medium heat.
  9. Heat for 5 to 10 minutes, turning every few minutes for even cooking.
  10. Remove from heat carefully using tongs.
  11. Let the cones cool for a few minutes before opening the foil.
  12. Unwrap slowly and serve warm.

Notes

  • Keep cones away from direct flames to prevent burning
  • Rotate often for even melting
  • Let cool slightly before eating to avoid burns
  • Use soft fruits for best results
