Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss chopped apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in a baking dish.
- Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Rub in the cold butter with your fingers until mixture looks crumbly. Stir in oats or nuts if using.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and apples are bubbling.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel drizzle.
Notes
- Mix tart and sweet apples for more flavor.
